Täsch is the gateway to the grandiose and fascinating world of the mountains. The village has about 1’000 inhabitants. It is only 10 minutes away from Zermatt, one of the most emblematic ski resorts in Switzerland.
Due to Zermatt being car-free, Täsch has developed into Zermatt’s “parking garage”, with all Zermatt-bound visitors arriving by car leaving their car in Täsch. At the same time, it has become the more affordable alternative to overnighting in Zermatt whilst still being close to Zermatt. Also, there are many outdoor activities in the vicinity of the village.
